The Fellows' new Combination Room and Dining Room were light and spacious with plain plaster walls, unvarnished oak panelling and generous stone fire places. Large windows opened onto a formal and intimate courtyard and the full length, lined, linen curtains hand-blockprinted in Small Feather and Winchester that Barron and Larcher produced for these were quite the most important decorative feature of each room.
