| I found the Design Council Archive very interesting, the archive covers over forty years of design so there was plenty of inspiring material to get ideas from
. Through investigating the Archive it was clear that the Design Council was more concerned with the way an object looked, i.e. photographed than whether or not it functioned properly. My images of everyday kitchen objects are made using Polaroid film, they are purposely out of focus in reaction to the Design Archive's bias towards form over function. |
