| Description | This painting shows the conversion of St Paul as described in Acts 26: 9-21. St Paul persecuted Christians until one day he was travelling on the road to Damascus. He saw a bright light and he and his companions fell to the ground. Jesus spoke to him saying, 'Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting me?'. After his conversion, Saul changed his name to Paul and began to spread the word of Christ. | |
