| Description | This is a copy of a Van Dyck portrait of about 1627, itself a copy of an original by Rubens dating from about 1625, of which there are many versions. The Archduchess is represented, whole length, in the costume of the sisters of St Clare, which she wore after the death of her husband, the Archduke Albert, in 1621. This copy was made not earlier than the eighteenth century. | |
