The painting depicts a rustic landscape, comprising a rocky outcrop on the right, with a mountainous vista beyond. In the foreground are several goats. A mother and her kid may be seen on the left, while behind them is another goat eating a bush. |

The attribution appears reasonable as the painting is typical of Roos's style and subject-matter, however, darkening of the varnish makes it hard to make out the composition or details of technique. |
