Description Typical of these views, this small oil is a calm and tranquil scene. LÚpine captures the aged walls of the house-lined streets using a few tiny figures as staffage. He suggests the warmth of a summer's day, clouds flitting across a blue sky, as a woman struggles up the sunlit hill, an infant in her arms a toddler and a dog at her feet.
