| Description | The scene is dominated by the tall tower of a castle and its associated buildings. They stand above a rocky hillside strewn with large boulders and a few coniferous trees. Beyond, mountain peaks define the horizon. Below, two turbulent streams run down from left and right to combine as a river running right. In left foreground are two figures, one seated and one standing, equipped with long poles or goads and accompanied by a dog. They are watching over two long horned cows, a donkey and three sheep | |
