Description Jacob de Wit was a decorative artist who is best known for his monochrome imitation relief work (grisaille) such as this, which suggest stucco work through a decorative motif. In this image, a group of putti are depicted playing Blind Man's Buff. These images are sometimes called Witjes after the artist himself.
