Description Portrait of Alfonso d'Arcano, or Tricani ('of Giavvus' before 1538), who joined the Order in 1520. He came from a noble family of Udine, derived from the Kings of Croatia. His coat-of-arms is in the top right-hand corner; the three dogs, or 'tre cani', motif is obviously a pun on his name.
