Description This Dutch picture of a woman and a man in an interior is typical in style to the paintings of Quiringh van Brekelenkam (1622-1680). The woman is making lace in the light from a nearby window, through which we can see a pantiled building outside. Behind the woman is a man eating by the warmth of a fire. The clothes the two figures wear suggests they are servants.
