Notes Another copy of the original of this work was in the A.H. Forbes Collection in Oswestry. Though the Shipley work is now attributed as 'after David Teniers II', the quality of the work is so poor, that 'after Teniers' has to be used in the loosest possible sense, as with the exception of the subject matter, taken from a known Teniers work, the painting bears no other resemblance to paintings by Teniers.
