Description This is a graceful, half-length portrait of a young lady in an oval format. The sitter is attired in eighteenth-century costume, with a pink bodice, wraps of blue velvet and white gauze, and a neat, silvery wig. She wears flowers over her left ear, and with her left hand she holds a posy of pink and white flowers to her breast. She is slightly turned to gaze at the viewer.
