Notes Part of the V&A gift (F.130 - 132; F.133-F.138). The title of this loosely connects it to France and the early Soane tours (1880 and 1882). In portfolio with items F.130.1-4, F.131.1-3, F.132.1-2, these are the Goldsmiths' Hall designs, made between 1882 and 1884.
Object Notes Lightly drawn and finely detailed drawing of a floral pattern which, literally translated, is called 'No.6 Paris Forest'. It is unclear whether Lethaby may have designed this pattern or copied it from somewhere (the latter being most likely, due to the tracing paper).
