| Notes | Signed with the Argentier pseudonym, which Lethaby used for his 1884 entance into this competition. See also F.132.2. He entered the competion three years running (1882-84), this being the only year that he didn't win a prize. It is certainly worth noting the influence of William Burges; the earlier Goldsmiths' designs looked more towards 16th Century Anglo-Flemish traditions. | |
| Object Notes | This is a sheet of designs for a hand mirror (front elevation and partial reverse elevation) a trinket tray (plan and section) and a casket (front elevation and partial perspective sketch, detailing the lock and key). These would presumably make a set with the Toilet Glass (F.132.2), Lethaby's other entry that year. | |
