| Notes | See also F.69.12. This design was probably executed by either Farmer and Brindley (see inscription and notes on F.69.9) or Fenton & Co. This design was for one of Lethaby's biggest contracts, Avon Tyrell, the residence of Lord and Lady Manners in Christchurch, Hants. Lethaby was given the contract in 1891 but this drawing wasn't made until c.1895 (a fact given away by the watermark). This goes to show the length of time and amount of work needed to complete such a contract. | |
