|Notes||This reproduction appears on a page (from the Building News) with work by other designers. The original drawing by Lethaby was part of his 1877 entry into the Building News Designing Club competition. He went on to become the overall winner in 1878. See F.8.|
|Object Notes||Double page spread from the Building News dated 18th January 1878; these appear to be the top four designs for dining rooms and buffets, Lethaby's in first place and three other designs by other designers. Lethaby's drawing shows 1) full frontal elevation 2) scale in feet and inches 3) and a detail of the jamb. Signed with the Debut pseudonym. Lethaby's design labelled number "1" by The Building News, for first place. Reduced in size from thre original; see F.8.|
