A short length of circular-section tubing, the inside reinforced with a helical rib like a screw thread, believed to be the first of its kind. According to PHS documentation it was made on a Francis Shaw hand machine and demonstrated at the British Industries Fair. This item forms part of the Plastics Historical Society (PHS) collection. |
