A sample of the laminate used in the 2000s Mover merino soft shell vest (AIBDC:00587.1). It consists of a LycraŽ front, a Diaplex membrane and a merino wool back. Diaplex is an advanced form of polyurethane made by Diaplex co. ltd. It is non-porous when cool but at a pre-ordained temperature becomes porous. It continually responds to temperature fluctuations assuring optimum comfort in any environment. For a related fabric sample see also 005871.3. |
