Core Record

Title brush
Collection Museum of Design in Plastics: Arts University College at Bournemouth
Date circa 2000
Description A 2000s snow storm effect toilet brush set, with a colourless handle and holder, both filled with a blue liquid and silver glitter. The set is on the whole made of acrylic, which is hard, rigid and light-weight, all characteristics appropriate to the use of this product. The characteristic, however, that it utilises in particular is the sparkling clarity of acrylic showing off the blue liquid and silver glitter enclosed within it. The weather resistant aspects of acrylic will stand it in good stead when put to its purpose.
