| Description |
This impressive still life has been attributed to the painter Michele Pace, who specialised in images of flowers and fruits, often depicting them against a landscape or stormy sky. The artist was active in the mid-seventeenth century and is sometimes known as 'Campidoglio' on account of an official post he held in the Roman piazza of that name. |
