Cotton. Draw loom woven. Plain weave ground with 2/40 mercerized cotton brocading. Coloured lines and bands: red, yellow, blue, etc. on pale green ground. Warp count 2/80s mercerized cotton. Weft count 1/40s mercerized cotton. 64 ends per inch finished. 66 ground (plus 30 extra weft) picks per inch finished. Width finished 22 inches, excluding selvedges. |
