String puppet, coster, carved and painted wooden body with articulated joints, wearing flat cap, scarf and button-decorated suit. The puppet's right arm holding gavel is detached from the body. |

Dark grey felt flat cap. Red fine wool scarf knotted around neck. Unbleached linen with horizontal blue striped shirt. Brown linen suit with collar, cuffs and pockets trimmed with dark brown leather. Decorated with triple breasted button fastening, three buttons on cuffs and eight buttons around waist of jacket. Trousers have eight buttons on each outside lower leg. |
