| Description |
A 1930s or 1940s rectangular tank with screw top and rubber seal which holds calcium carbide for use with a German acetylene military lantern. It is made of compression moulded phenol formaldehyde filled with a cloth like substance and relates to the lanterns PHSL 182 and 218. This item forms part of the Plastics Historical Society (PHS) collection. |
